150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Swami Vivekananda at Sydney

Hindu community in Sydney is celebrating 150 Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Sydney on 14 July and you are invited with your Family and Friends. The information is attached below. We will be celebrating Swamiji’s birth Anniversary through various programs aimed at uniting the community and motivating it to work for the Society.
Swami Vivekananda is the one the most important Hindu Monk of recent times and he is one of the first one to go overseas spread the Hindu philosophy. He is most famous for his speech at World parliament of religions in Chicago in 1893.
We have invited an eminent speaker from India for this program. His name is Dr. Subramaniam Swami , he is an eminent scholar, economist, political activist and Hindu thinker.
He has completed doctorate from Harvard and was visiting professor there. It will be his first visit to Australia.. It will be a great occasion to meet him in person. In his honor we will be hosting a Dinner program on Saturday 13 July.
